InputfieldSelect::processInput() method

Process input from the provided array

In this case we're having the Inputfield base process the input and we're going back and validating the value. If the value(s) that were set aren't in our specific list of options, we remove them. This is a security measure.

Usage

$inputfieldSelect->processInput(WireInputData $input);

Arguments

Hooking InputfieldSelect::processInput(…)

You can add your own hook events that are executed either before or after the InputfieldSelect::processInput(…) method is executed. Examples of both are included below. A good place for hook code such as this is in your /site/ready.php file.

Hooking before

The 'before' hooks are called immediately before each InputfieldSelect::processInput(…) method call is executed. This type of hook is especially useful for modifying arguments before they are sent to the method.

Hooking after

The 'after' hooks are called immediately after each InputfieldSelect::processInput(…) method call is executed. This type of hook is especially useful for modifying the value that was returned by the method call.
